We are committed to crafting the best wines possible. With that, we are proud to offer a full satisfaction guarantee on all of the wines you purchase from us.

How do I return my wine?
If you're not 100% satisfied with any of the wines you receive from us, simply contact us at (707) 967-2626 within a year of purchase and we'll happily send you a replacement.

What do I do if the wine I ordered is damaged?
Despite our best efforts to secure wine shipments, wine bottles are fragile and issues arise from time to time. Contact our member services team and we will rectify the situation quickly.

Are there any restrictions?
Please note that we will happily replace any wines purchased directly from the winery, given that they are still available; however we cannot replace wines purchased from other wine retailers or restaurants. In rare instances, we reserve the right to deny our return policy to customers who we suspect are attempting to abuse the policy.

"This 2023 Zinfandel comes from a cooler vintage. The palate is rich and dense with loads of exotic spices. The freshness of the wine really drives this as dense black cherry and blackberry flavors mingle with bramble and green herbs on the palate. Showing great mouth-watering acidity, enjoy this beautiful wine now and over the next ten plus years to come."

Dry Creek AVA – Rudy's Vineyard & Mauritson Home Ranch

Home Base starts with fruit farmed by the pioneering Mauritson family. This Zinfandel was made from two vineyards on the eastern side of the valley with vine ages ranging from 40-70 years old. One of the oldest wine regions in California, Dry Creek Valley has been renowned for its Zinfandel since the 1880’s. Distinctive from most other growing regions in Sonoma county, the valley warms earlier in the day and reaches higher average temperatures, yet still drops dramatically in temperature at night. These conditions make for deliciously rich and weighty wine.

Vintage NotesRemarkably cool and late, the 2023 vintage produced wines of singular character and quality. The winter season started wet, with record rainstorms and mountaintop snowfall, leaving aquifers full and vines healthy. A cool spring indicated the later harvest to come, with a late start to budbreak and a long flowering period on the vines that was accompanied by wildflower super blooms. Through mild summer temperatures the vines set an ample crop load with strong canopy growth. After patient waiting and long hangtimes, warm weather came at just the right moment in fall to push ripeness to completion, resulting in wines that are deep, vital, and age worthy.
