1995
The First Vineyard
Kathryn and Craig Hall purchase their first Napa Valley vineyard—Sacrashe—high in the Rutherford hills. This is currently our HALL Rutherford Tasting Room, where you can see the Sacrashe Vineyard amongst the Estate.
1997–2001
U.S. Ambassador Era
The Honorable Kathryn Walt Hall serves as the United States Ambassador to Austria. Diplomacy by day, wine dreams by night.
2003
HALL St. Helena Officially Launches
The Halls purchase the winery from Golden State Vintners and launch the future home of powerhouse Napa Cabs. Goodbye ordinary, hello opulence.
2008
HALL St. Helena Gets a Glow-Up
Designed by architect Jarrod Denton, HALL St. Helena opens the first phase of the winery renovation.
2009
Gold Stars and Green Goals
HALL St. Helena receives the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold Certification
2010
Certified Organic!
HALL vineyards become certified organic by the CCOF.
WALT Brand launches!
2013
Phase Two of HALL St. Helena
We finish the second phase of our St. Helena Winery: new winemaking facilities, a sleek visitor center, featuring beautiful contemporary art, architecture, and gardens with vineyard views.
