How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made online through our website or by contacting the tasting room directly. Please visit our website and contact the tasting room you are planning to visit.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Walk-ins are welcome when space allows. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends and holidays.

can we purchase wine by the glass?

Yes, wine by the glass may be available depending on the day and location. Our primary offering is curated tasting flights.

are dogs allowed?

Yes, we love dogs! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please keep pets leashed at all times.

can i bring my children?

Guests must be 21+ to participate in tastings. Minors may be permitted in limited areas; please inquire in advance.

is there food available to purchase with my tasting?

Yes! Add a food pairing to your tasting to enhance your experience. Options may include charcuterie, house-made chips & dip, caviar, and more.

If I buy wine after a tasting, will my tasting be waived?

Tasting fee waivers vary based on purchase amount and membership status. Please ask your host for current details.

are all tastings ADA compliant?

We strive to accommodate all guests. Please contact us in advance so we can ensure the best possible experience. WALT Oxbow has an outdoor elevator for guests who cannot use stairs. Both WALT Sonoma and WALT BACA Healdsburg have ramps into the tasting room.

What is the best tasting experience to book if it is my first time visiting?

Our Current Release Tasting is the perfect introduction to our portfolio and winemaking style.

what if i need to change or cancel my reservation?

You may modify or cancel your reservation through your confirmation email or by contacting the tasting room directly. Advance notice is appreciated.

Membership

how much does it cost to be a member?

There is no cost to join. Quarterly allocations for 2-bottle Appellation Club members average $120, and 2-bottle Vintner’s Club members average $165.

when will my wines ship throughout the year?

Club allocations typically ship in February, April, September, and November, weather permitting.

can i pick up my allocation from the winery?

Yes! You may pick up your allocation at any of our tasting rooms across our portfolio of brands, including our location in Palm Springs.

how do i cancel my membership?

Reach out to our Membership team at 707-967-2631 or membership@waltwines.com, or cancel online by logging into your account and navigating to “Wine Club Membership."

how do i use my complimentary tasting benefits?

When booking online, ensure you are logged in with the email associated with your membership. If you experience any issues, our team will gladly assist.

Shipping

where does walt wines ship?

Our wines are available for direct shipping within the United States. Due to compliance laws, we are unable to ship to the following states: AL, AR, DE, KY, LA, ME, MS, NJ, RI, UT. Please visit our Shipping page for more information. For additional details, please contact your local political representative or visit www.FreeTheGrapes.org.

do i need to be present when my wine is delivered?

All alcohol shipments require an adult (21+) signature. We recommend shipping to a business address, or if you will be unavailable for delivery, rerouting to a FedEx hold location for pickup at your convenience. Sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager to manage your wine delivery.

when will my order ship?

Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after processing. During extreme high or low temperatures, we may temporarily hold your order to protect it from damage in transit.
